On Thursday September 1st, 2005, Trumbull Center's and Nichols weekly drill was held at beaches Pool. Topic for the evening was to refresh all personnel's responsibility at a dive incident.

Also put to the test was to see if a firefighter who falls into the water with full protective equipment including and SCBA, could float and would the SCBA work.
All firefighters who participated in this test, were secured by a rope and at least one or two divers were next to the firefighter at all times.
