Trumbull Volunteer Fire Co. No. 1

Our website will get you acquainted with the organization, which, since 1925, has served your community. The Trumbull Volunteer Fire Company was founded by men and women from your neighborhood, who dedicate their time and experience to provide fire protection for your family and business. These people bring a multitude of talents on behalf of the townspeople they serve; engineers, mechanics, plumbers, accountants, students, local businessmen, law enforcement officers, electricians, computer programmers, and even a physicist have all chosen to protect your home without any compensation whatsoever.

House numbers are important!!!
Being able to have the Police Department, Emergency Medical Service (E.M.S.) and the Fire Department find your house quickly is important. If you have no house numbers either on your mailbox or on your house, critical time is lost.

  • House numbers can be affixed to your mailbox or next to the front door.
  • House numbers on the street mailbox should be placed on both sides.
  • House numbers should be at least 4 inches tall and reflective.
  • House numbers should not be blocked by plants or other foliage.
  • Recent Alarms

    Lights & Sirens
When you see any emergency vehicle responding behind you with lights and sirens activated, please pull to the right side of the road so that they may pass.
